With Kashmir simmering with the massive uprising, the pro-freedom rallies have reached to border areas of Tangdar-which shares boundary with the Pakistani side of Kashmir.
According to reports, Minister for Rural Development Department (RDD) had to face angry protest in border town of Tangdar, when the locals protested and pelted stones at the cavalcade of the Minister. The security forces swung into action to disperse the youth.
Earlier, people of the peaceful area of Gurez took to streets and shouted pro-freedom slogans after a national TV showed a video showing the elderly of Gurez not supporting the ongoing protests in Kashmir.
The people of the area refuted the video saying it was a very old video sometime shot back in 2008 and was also edited.
