Two soldiers and two militants were killed near the Line of Control in north Kashmir’s Nowgam sector. The militants were trying to infiltrate into the Valley.
Officials said that army engaged a group of infiltrators near Nowgam sector on the LoC in Kupwara district. In the encounter, two army men and two militants were killed. Army said the operation is still under way.
“The operation is still underway.’’ Army has not disclosed further details about the operation.
