Ahad died on the spot, while his son was rushed to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment.

It is hard to believe that a wire laid across the road to halt traffic in the ongoing unrest could actually kill man, but the same happened after a man was killed on Friday evening when his neck got entangled in a wire near Chill Bus stop, on Arizal Beerwa road slicing his neck into two while on his way back to home along with his son on a scooty.

Reports said that Abdul Ahad Ganie of Mohalla Qumroo, Arizal along with his son Kamran Ahmad were returning home on a scooty when the incident took place.

Ahad died on the spot, while his son was rushed to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment.
Deputy Commissioner, Budgam Mir Altaf Ahmad said that the wire was laid by some unknown miscreants which proved fatal for the duo. “The incident has nothing to do with the ongoing clashes,” he said.
