Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) a mass based Muslim Movement organized a protest demonstration at Nellai Puliangudi, south Tamil Nadu, against the ongoing bloodshed of unarmed people in Kashmir, reports said on Monday.
They demanded Prime Minister of India to take serious action for ensuring peace or resign from Govt.
As per reports leader of TMMK Advocate Zainul Abideen lead the protestdemonstration. Large number of people including office bearers of TMMK also participated in the protest and raised slogans against the BJP lead NDA Government.
Few days back Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath (TNTJ) organized a big demonstration at Chennai wherein thousands of Muslim women and men participated.
Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam (DVK) organized a dharma at Chennai ,Valluvar and Kottam. Many human rights activists and advocates participated and raised slogans against Indian “army’s brutality” and asked to Indian government to withdraw the army from Kashmir.
58 people have been killed and over 5000 injured in last sixteen days in Kashmir after protests started in the valley on July 9.
