Intense clashes erupted in Anantnag town on Monday evening between protesting youth and armed forces. Following the clashes the irrigation building opposite women’s college was set on fire by the protesting youth.
Rising Kashmir reporter said that a part of the building has been razed to ground. Scores of youth have also been injured in the clashes, many have pellet injures and are being treated at district hospital Anantnag.
Meanwhile, people who had reached to Anchedora area of Anantnag on united Hurriyat’s call failed to reach back to their destinations. Reports said the locals of the area are catering them.
