Asking Kashmir based pro-India politicians to stop singing hymns in praise of India, Dukhatarn-e-Milat (DeM) on Thursday said that the ongoing freedom struggle is being run by people themselves and it is the people who are the judge. Spokesperson DeM, Nahida Nasreen told over phone that people of Kashmir eagerly want Kashmir issue should get resolved and if India still use dilly dally tactics then it will have serious ramifications.
“India must accept and admit that Kashmir is a political issue that must be resolved. People have already rejected pro-India politicians who have no say and control over people. The recent example is the attack on PDP legislator Muhammad Khalil Bandh. It is high and opportune time for these politicians to stop supporting India and mingle with people,” she said.
Nahida Nasreen while hailing the resilience and role of common people said that once again people here have proved that they are one and united. “Whole world saw that how common people supported and assisted wounded persons and provided them each and every kind of assistance. We are proud of our nation,” she said. The DeM spokesperson appealed people to get united and take this freedom movement to logical conclusion. “The movement is at critical juncture and if at this stage people will backtrack then never on earth we will be able to mobilize such a mass support against India. We appeal people to be ready for any kind of sacrifices, God willingly we will succeed,” she said adding that government tried to play education card by directing parents to send their children to schools in four districts. “We saw how people reacted and how government was forced to impose curfew all across Kashmir.” DeM hailed the role of Pakistan for highlighting the plight of Kashmiri people all over globe.
