Authorities on Saturday have cut power and water supply at Chanapora area in uptown Srinagar, locals alleged.
They said after a long time they have witnessed unscheduled long power cut in the area. They also complained of non- availability of potable water.
“Since morning there is no electricity and taps are also running dry here,” they said.

Pertinently, Chanapora , Bagh-e-Mehtab and other adjoining areas have been witnessing continuous protests for the past eight days.
