Army on Saturday said that it foiled an infiltration bid by killing three militants near Line of Control in Saujiyan sector of Poonch.
Officials said that soldiers spotted the militants near LoC and challenged them.
“Militants opened fire which was retaliated triggering a gunfight in which three militants were killed,” they added.
Army’s Jammu based spokesman confirmed the incident and operation is going on.
