in wake of the Friday protest, strict curfew has been imposed in Kashmir to thaw protesting youth from coming out on streets to protest against the killing of Burhan Muzaffar Wani, who was killed on 8th July in an encounter in south Kashmir, whose killing lead to intense protests and clashes between unarmed youth and armed Indian forces, killing 41 civilians and injuring more than 2500.
Internet service and cellular services has also been shut down on Thursday evening. However, government run BSNL service and broadband is working on a very low speed.
