Intense clashes broke out between youth and armed forces in some areas of Kupwara soon after afternoon prayers. Reports said that clashes broke out in Tiker, Iqbal Market, Dar Mohalla, Malik Mohalla, and near Jamia Masjid.
Clashes were on till this report was filed. Kashmir is witnessing violent clashes for the sixth consecutive day after militant commander Burhan Wani was killed last week.
