DU student killed by Indian forces

One more youth who was shot by forces in South Kashmir’s Bijbehara on Monday evening has succumbed to his injuries.

SMHS sources said that the slain youth, identified as Amir – an M Com Student at Delhi University, was administered several pints of blood last night. However, he could not survive.

The body of the Amir has been driven to his home town Bijbehara and is expected to reach his home in a few moments from now. He was resident of Baba Mohalla.

Kashmir has witnessed intense situation since militant commander, Burhan Wani, was killed along with his two associates last Friday evening in South Kashmir’s Kokernag area.

The civilian death toll has reached to 33 including an SPO working with JKP.
