An army man died after his service rifle went off accidentally at Safapra in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
Naik B.V. Krishnaya, belt number1701077- 4 of 13 RR Bn died after his rifle went off during a routine patrol on Asham-Safapora road, said a senior police official.
SSP Ganderbal Imtiyaz Ismayil Parrey said that they were investigating the case.
“The army man has died due to the accidental fire. We are on job to ascertain the details,” he said.
