Deputy Speaker Nazir Ahmad Gurezi Monday directed the government to remove the IAS officer, who is allegedly involved in the suicide attempt of a female IAS officer.
The issue was raised by PDP MLA Javid Mustafa Mir in the Legislative Assembly who said the IAS officer, who attempted suicide has been transferred from the sensitive posting.
“But what about the other IAS officer? He is heading an important department and too holding sensitive posting. So this IAS officer should also be removed from the Education department,” Mir demanded.
The Deputy Speaker Nazir Gurezi directed the government to transfer the said officer. “Drabu Sahab, remove this IAS officer immediately from this department of which 50 percent are women folk,” Gurezi directed.
