Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice Abdul Haq today said that the Government has no plan to lift ban on the inter-district recruitment.

Responding to a question by Ch Qamar Hussain, Minister said that revoking the ban on inter-district recruitment will adversely affect the career prospects of thousands of candidates aspiring for government jobs in their respective districts.

He further informed the House that the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment Rules, 2010 were notified in 2010 under which only candidates belonging to the concerned district can apply for the district cadre posts.
