Army on Thursday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing two militants in Tanghdar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“So far two militants have been killed in an ongoing operation”, a defence official said.
He said that in the incident a soldier also sustained injuries and has been hospitalised.
Pertinently, On Wednesday, a militant and a soldier were killed while as at least five troopers were injured in a gunfight between government forces and a group of infiltrators at Machhil sector in the frontier district.
