Minister of State for Power Development, Industries & Commerce Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi today, replying to a question of Saif-ud-Din Bhat informed the House that work on receiving stations Waterhail and Arizal will be completed during the current financial year, adding that there is no feasibility for establishment of a new workshop at Kremshore.
Giving details of the works, the Minister informed that receiving station Waterhail has been taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 3.16 crore, of which Rs. 1.05 crore have been utilized up to ending March 2016. The work on receiving station Arizal has been taken at an estimated cost of Rs 3.80 crore, of which Rs 2.75 crore have been utilized up to ending March 2016, he added.
Syed Farooq Andrabi informed that both the receiving stations will be completed during the financial year 2016-17.
He said that damaged transformers of Budgam district are being repaired at Chadoora workshop and Divisional workshop Budgam, besides highly damaged DTs are being repaired at central workshop Pampore, adding that the feasibility of a new workshop at Kremshore is yet to be established.
