Loan scheme for micro enterprises to be made functional soon

Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash today, replying to  a question of Surinder Mohan Ambardar, informed that the new scheme ‘Term Loan Scheme for Micro Enterprises’ for the benefit of the youth belonging to non-Minority population, who are not being covered under existing schemes of Union Ministry of Minority Affairs, will be launched and made functional soon.

The Minister informed that the new scheme was announced in the Budget speech 2015-16 and the Draft guidelines of the scheme have been framed by Labour and Employment Department, while as Planning, Development and Monitoring Department has already conveyed its agreement for the same. He said that the guidelines are presently with the Finance Department for examination and agreement, saying that as and when the Department conveys its agreement, the Labour and Employment Department shall launch the scheme and make it functional.
