01 person died, 02 injured in road accidents

One person dies while two others were injured in different road accidents in the valley.

In Sopore, a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK05E-7169 hit a pedestrian Ali Mohammad Mir son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir resident of Tragpora at Tragpora National Highway, resulting in his on spot death. After completion of legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rights. Sopore Police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ganderbal, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BA-1549 ridden by Yasir Iqbal resident of Chajlla Poonch Mendhar hit and injured a lady Hajira resident of Nunner at Nunner. The injured lady was shifted to JVC Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kargil, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK01M-4989 driven by Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat resident of Chadoora collided with a JCB at Namkila Wakha, resulting in injury to a passenger Tara Chand resident of Bangalore boarding the Tavera vehicle. The injured was shifted to Primary Health Centre Shargole for treatment. Kargil Police has registered a case in this regard.
