Senior pro-freedom leader Ghulam Mohammad Khan breathed his last on Wednesday. He was the father of senior most Hurriyat Conference (G) leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan.

Ghulam Mohammad Khan was a close associate of Kashmiri leader, Mohammad Maqbool Bhat-who was hanged in Delhi’s Tihar jail. In 1973, he was jailed for the first time which continued, intermittently, after 1990s.
Khan will be buried at his ancestral home at Pathan Pora, Khore in North Kashmir’s Pattan area.
His Nimaz-i-Jinazah will be held after Asar prayers later this evening around 5:30 PM.
