Saturday: In a shocking incident a newly born baby was found laying in premises of Sub District hospital Sopore here in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Reports said that the baby was found in sick condition and was later taken to SDH Sopore where he was referred to Children’s hospital Sonwar for specialized treatment by a police team from the Sopore police station.
“We were informed by the hospital staff about the presence of the baby. We rushed to the spot and later took him to inside the hospital where he was checked by the doctors who advised to take the newborn to Srinagar Sonwar hospital for better treatment.” SHO Sopore Yasir said.
“A case has been registered under FIR No. 148 /2016, u/s 317 in this regard and investigation has been taken up” he added.
