Srinagar: Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Saturday dubbed as “worst kind of state terrorism” the mass detention of pro-freedom leaders in Kashmir.
He expressed his deep concern over the re-arrest and use of “brutal force” against the JKLF chief Yasin Malik.
Geelani said that the government is doing such things “out of frustration.”
“We were peacefully protesting against the evil designs of India of setting up of Sainik and Pandit colonies and the new industrial policy but the government by exhibiting the worst kind of state terrorism and by imprisoning the pro-freedom leaders and activists in jails and houses had proved that they have surrendered before the RSS and they will do whatever their masters will command them to do,” said Geelani, in a statement, issued here.
The pro-freedom leader said that “we have to be united in fight against these wicked policies of the communal forces and for this we have to prepare ourselves on every front and if we failed to do so then the Kashmiri nation will lose their everything and they will become strangers in their own land.”
