Srinagar : Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Rehman Veeri, replying to a question of Javid Ahmad Mirchal in the Legislative Council today informed that the road from Tangdhar to Hajitra in district Kupwara is under construction.
The Minister informed the total length of the road from Tangdhar to Hajitra upto Mundiyan via Gabra is 16 kms, of which 5.50 kms have been upgraded by way of water bound macadam Grade-II & III. He further informed that the tenders for blacktopping of 2 Kms of the said road have also been invited. Legislator Sajjad Kichloo raised supplementary to the main question.
