Srinagar: Minister of State for Transport, Sunil Kumar Sharma, replying to a question of Sofi Mohammad Yousuf in the Legislative Council today informed that contract carriage vehicles (sumos, etc) are available throughout the state for patients to reach tertiary care SKIMS, Soura for specialized treatment.
The Minister informed that there is no proposal to start additional Sumo service from district headquarters of Kashmir province, as of now, there are sufficient number of vehicles from various districts headquarters to Srinagar City is available to general public and patients to reach the hospitals.
