Chief Minister seeks report on works executed under Tribal Sub-Plan

‘DCs asked to redraft action plan under Article 275(1), SCA to TSP’

Srinagar:  Following the directions of the Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, the Tribal Affairs Department has asked the concerned Deputy Commissioners to conduct on spot inspection of all the works executed under Special Central Assistance (SCA) for Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) and submit a report in this regard within a week.

“The Chief Minister has directed to inform all the Deputy Commissioners of the State to conduct on spot inspection of the works executed under SCA to TSP and submit a report alongwith the photographs of each work year-wise and location-wise to the Tribal Affairs Department within a week for onward submission to the Chief Minister,” a circular issued by the Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department reads.

According to the circular, the Deputy Commissioners have been also asked to redraft the action plan under Article 275(1) and SCA to TSP focusing on creation of tangible assets and income generating units especially for women.
