Smart Cities for Jammu, Srinagar soon: Dy CM

SRINAGAR: J&K’s twin capital cities – Jammu and Srinagar- would soon be taken up under the Smart City project.

This was announced by the Union Minister for Urban Development Mr. Venkaiah Naidu while interacting with J&K’s Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh at Guwahati today.

The Deputy Chief Minister while pleading the case of taking up the twin capital cities under the prestigious project said it would go a long way in making these cities replete with all the modern facilities.

He said it has been a long pending demand of the state and the same has been taken up at various fora already.
