Governor’s Secretariat reopens in Srinagar

The Governor’s Secretariat, which had closed at Jammu on 29th April evening, reopened at the Raj Bhavan, Srinagar, today morning.

Governor N. N. Vohra went around the various wings of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat and the office of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and met the officers and staff of the Governor’s Secretariat and the Shrine Board.      The Governor advised all the functionaries to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, promptitude and proper maintenance of the official records. He also directed time bound digitization of all important records and de-weeding of irrelevant papers. The Governor also went around the Raj Bhavan estate and directed maintenance of cleanliness, proper upkeep of the gardens and assured readiness of the fire fighting system.

P.K Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the Governor accompanied the Governor.
