An Army person was killed during gunfight at LoC Kupwara. According to the Army today they foiled an infiltration bid along LoC at Kupwara Sector.
A group of Militants attempting to infiltrate was intercepted early morning today by alert troops deployed on the LoC.
In the ensuing encounter one Army men, Sepoy Ramesh CHand Yadav sustained a bullet injury. While being evacuated, the soldier succumbed to injuries. Operation has still not been called off.
